Stephen Vail Bio -- Digital Marketing Analytics Steve has over 20 years experience developing analytic marketing solutions in the financial services, telecom, publishing, health and CPG industries. Steve is currently Data Scientist at Annalect, an OMG company. There he develops media insights, customer segmentations and targeting models. Steve was recently Group Director for Advanced Analytics at Wunderman where he developed a social media listening platform and techniques for analyzing online purchase journeys. Prior to that Steve was President of S. Vail, Ltd, an analytics consultancy focusing on direct mail response, credit risk/loss and online advertising. Steve was also a consultant with Mitchell Madison Group. His marketing career began at American Express where he built targeting models and segmentations for Optima, Establishment Services, and American Express Financial Advisers. Steve’s early career included drug regulatory work at Hoffmann-La Roche and educational research at Educational Testing Service and World Bank. Steve holds degrees in statistics from the University of Washington and Princeton.
