Steve has over twenty five years experience developing analytic tools for marketing across many industries including telecoms, automotive, pharmaceuticals, publishing, financial services, travel and CPG. Steve is currently a Data Scientist at Annalect / OMG, where he works extensively in big data cloud infrastructures building solutions for consumer insights, behavioral targeting, audience segmention, and optimizing digital ad bidding algorithms. Previously Steve was Director of Advanced Analytics at Wunderman / KBMG where he developed innovative tools for measurement and insights: NLP for social media analytics, customer purchase journeys and multi-touch attribution. Steve began his marketing career at American Express where he built targeting models for Optima, Establishment Services, and American Express Financial Advisers. His early career included pharmaceutical regulatory work as well as educational research at World Bank and Educational Testing Service. Steve holds two degrees in statistics: a Master of Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton.
